Angeline Sloan, RMT

Clinic Owner

Angeline is continually amazed at the body’s strength and ability to heal itself. Along with her strong interest in alternative health and medicine, her intuition lead her to make the leap from her studies in Fine Arts at Queen’s University to Massage Therapy in 2011. Soon after graduating with Honors from Sutherland Chan School of Massage in 2013, Angeline took her newfound knowledge and passion of Massage Therapy and began her own practice, now Holistica Massage Therapy, in 2015.

After receiving her first Ashiatsu Massage, Angeline knew she had to share this amazing modality with her clients. Without delay, she got fully trained and certified in Advanced Ashiatsu with The Canadian Institute of Ashiatsu Massage Therapy in October 2017. Ashiatsu quickly became a staple for Angeline and she is so happy her clients love it as much as she does!

Angeline draws from her additional training in pre- and post-natal massage (including high-risk pregnancy care at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, ON), post-surgical breast massage and geriatric massage from Sutherland Chan School. She is trained in the use of MediCupping™ Therapy from ACE Massage Cupping (2018). Angeline also holds her certificate in herbal medicine from the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Toronto (2018).

Angeline provides focused treatment, employing critical thought and intuition to design an effective treatment plan tailored to each individual’s needs. She strives to create a calm and positive environment where her client feels at ease and is happiest when she has empowered her clients to take charge of their own health.

Aside from being fascinated by the human body, she is a lover of the outdoors, yoga, playing guitar, and anything artsy.

Angeline is not currently accepting new patients

Mieke Little, RMT

Anna-mieke (Mieke, pronounced “me-ka”) Little received her first RMT massage in her hometown of Stirling at the age of ten. The following weekend, she began giving massages to her friends and family. She wanted people to experience the same enjoyment and benefits she had from having massage.

After receiving her BA from Queen’s (Physical & Health Education) in 2014, Mieke was unsure about the next career step in her life. She spent the next three years saving money to travel, using Kingston as a home base. In 2016, Mieke made a big move to Toronto to attend the Accelerated One-Year program at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. Her school placements included treating seniors, patients with multiple sclerosis, cancer, high-risk pregnancies and post-surgical patients. She began working in February of 2018 for Sutherland-Chan (Atrium on Bay).

Since graduating from Sutherland-Chan, Mieke has been certified to use Cupping in her treatments. Her treatments focus on diaphragmatic breathing, a variety of stretching techniques (dynamic, PIR, myofascial), hydrotherapy, and remedial exercises (patient homework). She can work on specific issues, such as TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) dysfunction through intra-oral treatment.

She now lives in Kingston, and is expanding her practice with Ashiatsu Training July 2019. Book a massage with Mieke today to help with stress reduction, muscle tension relief, and to learn about your body.
